IS IT TIME TO RETHINK HOW DRIVERS ARE PAID
Surveys reveal that fleets under the ELD rule are driving fewer miles since the mandate took effect, resulting in less productivity and a smaller paycheck for those drivers who are paid by the mile. Activity based pay may be the answer to increase both productivity and driver pay.

REGULATIONS, MARKET CHANGES REQUIRE FLEETS TO REVIEW HOW THEY PAY DRIVERS.
With all of the changes in engine technology, telematics and state and federal regulations, having a fleet management program that keeps up can be critical for successful fleet management. This is even more true with the advent of the ELD mandate.

AUTOMATING DRIVER PAY (PART 1): THE CHALLENGES OF CALIFORNIA LABOR LAWS, ELDS.
California has a reputation for passing controversial laws that are later adopted by other states and the federal government. At the heart of the issue is piece-rate pay. While the industry standard for interstate fleets is to base driver pay on mileages, percentage-of-revenue, or flat rates for loads, the practice is under scrutiny by California courts for intrastate haulers. One solution to the problem is automating Activity Based Pay.
